When launching Isadora 2 under Windows, you may get the following error message regarding a missing Microsoft DLL file:
"MSVCPXXX.dll" file: The program can't start because MSVCPXXX.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." where XXX may either be 100 or 120.
If you see this error, you will need to install the required Microsoft DLLs using the links below.
For MSVCP100.dll or MSVCR100.dll:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) (always install)
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64) (install if running under a 64-bit version of Windows)
For MSVCP120.dll or MSVCR120.dll:
Go to Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package (x86)
- Click "Download"
- When asked which files you want, you should always select vcredist_x86.exe. If you are running under a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also select vcredist_x64.exe.
- Click "Next"
