Isadora 2 is supported on macOS 10.10.x (Yosemite), 10.11.x (El Capitan), 10.12.x (Sierra)*, and 10.13.x (High Sierra).

Isadora 2 is not supported on macOS 10.14.x (Mojave), macOS 10.15 (Catalina), macOS 11.x (Big Sur), macOS 12.x (Monterey), and later versions of macOS.

2GB RAM mininum, 4GB or greater recommended

2.0 GHz i5 Processor minimum

Intel or AMD processor with 32-bit support

*If you are using macOS Sierra, make sure to use 10.12.3 or later. There were problems with previous releases of Sierra that caused slowdowns in Isadora, but the new release seems to have solved the problem.

Windows

Isadora 2 is only supported on Windows 10

Isadora 2 is not supported on any other versions of Windows (11, 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2000, MS-DOS, etc.)

Apple's QuickTime 7.6 or greater **

** QuickTime has been deprecated by Apple. If you are using Isadora 2, you will need QuickTime for Windows. You can get it from Apple on this page. Isadora 3 does not use or require Quicktime.

Sassafras Keyserver

Isadora 2 requires Sassafras Keyserver v7.0 or later if you wish to use Sassafras Keyserver to manage your Isadora 2 licenses.

Unsupported Hardware Platforms

Isadora 2 is not supported on tablet devices such as the Microsoft Surface Pro, Linux machines, systems which run macOS on non-Apple hardware, and computers with ARM processors.

Isadora 2 is not designed for use with external graphics cards (eGPUs) or machines that have multiple discrete GPUs.

Running Isadora 2 on machines utilizing unsupported hardware configurations may have unexpected and undesirable results in terms of performance and usability.
